‘I have been a Personal Trainer with the fitness team since 2001.  During this time, I have gained extensive experience and numerous qualifications, giving me an in-depth knowledge of Exercise, Health, Fitness & Nutrition.  


I have worked with a wide variety of different clients, ranging from professional sportsmen and women (including professional golfers and swimmers), to those with their own more personal goals.  I have a fantastic passion and enthusiasm for fitness which I pass onto others.


So whether your goal is to lose that unwanted weight, pack on some extra muscle or just reduce that handicap, I can provide you with the energy and expertise you need, to be exactly what you want to be!’

I have been having personal training with Rob for over 12 months now. I started following major abdominal surgery after which one sit up was impossible and my general fitness and body shape was incredibly altered.


My job means I have to undergo a yearly fitness test meaning a swift recovery was even more important to me. We started really slowly working the whole body but concentrating on abs. It was a really hard physical and emotional process but with Rob’s support and expertise I was able to not only do sit ups again but to pass my fitness test 6 months later. This was a massive achievement and one that I could not have done without regular sessions and support.


I maintained my PT sessions after this as I was scared to let my fitness level drop - Rob motivated and pushed me hard so I was able to achieve the most possible. I then began concentrating more on body shape, doing loads of weights work and seeing really positive results.


During our sessions we have done everything from running, to weights to circuit training to training on the Bosu Ball. Whatever the tasks have been Rob made them good fun, he has been a great source of motivation and encouragement and has helped me to achieve goals that I would not have been able to alone.
