Run for Fun in Wrington

The 31st annual Wrington fun run and family day is taking place on 22nd May and is again being sponsored by theclub at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House.
Starting at The Pavilion at The Rec at 11am the race will cover one lap of the village, which is approximately three miles. This will be followed by a BBQ at The Rec where fun and games for all the family will be provided.
Those who take part in the run, which is organised by the Wrington C of E Primary School PTA, will receive a medal with theclub at Cadbury House providing prizes for all category winners.
Manager of theclub Jason Eaton said: “The fun run is going to be a fantastic family day out and the BBQ after is sure to be a great event. Let’s just hope the weather treats us well!
“We are proud to sponsor local events like this and really get involved in the local community. It gives us the chance to get to know our members and guests more personally and give something back to the area.”
Application forms for the run are available now at Amors in Wrington, theclub at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House and Wrington C of E Primary school office.
Jason continued: “We are putting together our own team at theclub so if you are a member and want to run with us ask a member of the gym team for more information. It’s going to be great fun to get some team spirit going and to run for fun!”
