North Somerset spa voted best in the country

A North Somerset spa has been voted the best beauty salon in the UK.
Chosen ahead of hundreds of other entries, thespa at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House in Congresbury, received the ‘Pevonia Salon of the Year’ accolade from Pevonia Botanica, the world leader in spa treatments and products.
Recognised for its outstanding customer service, incentives and admirable team dynamics, thespa beat off stiff competition to scoop the prestigious award.
Pevonia UK director Daniela Chandler was on the judging panel for the awards. She said: “We received a record number of entries this year so it’s testament to thespa at Cadbury House to win this category.
“This well known and popular spa showed a strong emphasis on caring for its customers. The excellent service and personal touch to the clients portrayed a structured organisation with a dedicated, driven team. I was most enlightened by its customer care policy which includes a constructive feedback system which enables the team to provide the best service possible.”
To receive the award spa manager Michelle Kidner had to submit a dossier including details on why thespa should win, details of the marketing and PR strategies for the past year and customer care and staff training policies.
The award is also judged on the unique selling points of the venue and how it stands out from others like it.
Michelle said: “It is a great honour to win the Pevonia Salon of the Year award. We work really hard at making thespa a relaxing, luxurious environment and want all our customers to have the best possible visit everytime.
“To be recognised is fantastic; this is the highest accolade possible from the world leader in spa treatments and products and it’s a real achievement, I’m very proud of the whole team.”
Providing a range of holistic and beauty treatments Pevonia is only used in five star resorts across the world including the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas.
Daniela continued: “The entire spa team has a unique bond and proven commitment that is second-to-none. Thespa at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House thoroughly deserve this recognition for all their hard work and achievements.”
DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House is the only spa in the region that has been given exclusivity to use the Pevonia range. As a company that only allows the best five star resorts across the world to use their products, this shows how good Pevonia rates Cadbury House.
