Sports massage is a deeper form of massage aimed at relieving muscular aches and pains, reducing stress and improving posture.
Many
people have the misconception that sports massage is only useful for
sports people. In fact, many postural imbalances and muscular problems
are caused by the normal day-to-day routine.
Anything from
driving to work, sitting at a desk to working at a computer or doing
household chores. By performing these repetitive activities day after
day we can cause imbalances in our muscles which then lead to areas of
tension and ultimately muscular strains and discomfort.
The most
common complaints are a sore lower backs, stiff legs and hips and achy
neck and shoulders. Through the use of sports massage, these problems
can be assessed, treated, and then aided through the use of regular
