The gym at the region’s leading health club and spa is to undergo a major refurbishment making it the most technically advanced anywhere in the South-West.
Final plans are now underway at The Club and Spa at Cadbury House in Congresbury that will see the entire cardio-vascular, resistance and free weight equipment being completely replaced, representing an investment of £1 million.
The floor of the freeweight and HiiT area is also being replaced while the whole area is to be redecorated.
Jason Eaton, general manager at the popular health club said: “We’re constantly looking to invest in the club's facilities to make sure it remains the leading independent health club and spa in the country.
“The investment in the gym’s equipment demonstrates our commitment to do just that and we’re incredibly excited by the plans.
“We’re working together with Technogym, the world leading brand in fitness, wellness, sport and health and have designed the space that will guarantee to enhance members’ training experiences.
“The kit that we’re installing will be used by athletes at the Paris Olympics in 2024, so it really is the very latest in health and fitness equipment. No other health club in the region will have such an extensive range of equipment and places us at the forefront of health and wellbeing.
“All the new kit will feature Technogym Live which is the latest user interface and is packed with entertainment, guided sessions, inspiring outdoor routes plus many more features. It will enable users to have a truly personalised training experience.
“In addition, built into every product is Technogym Coach, a digital coach powered by AI that will inspire users to embrace exercise and make it part of your daily life, so they can achieve results in a fun and motivating way.
“It’s now all hands-on deck to make sure the transition goes smoothly with the new gym set to open in September.”
