What will happen when I join theClub?

On your first visit, you will need to go to the reception where they will take your photograph and will also activate your key.

When I have joined when can I start using theClub?

If you want to start using the club straight away then your membership will be activated immediately, allowing you to use the indoor pool, steam room, sauna, spa and classes.

If you would like to use the gym you will need to have a gym induction. This can usually be booked in for you 24-48 hours after joining. In some cases, there may be availability on the day of joining.

Why do I need to have a gym induction?

All new members need an induction to comply with Health and Safety regulations and also to show them how to work the gym equipment.

What is included in my induction?

  • Full induction of the gym equipment
  • Tailor-made programme
  • Goal Setting Consultation

How long will my gym induction take?

45 – 60 minutes

Do I still need an induction if I have used gym equipment before?

Yes, all new members must have an induction. However, the induction time can be reduced down to 15-20 minutes.

Do you offer personal training?

Yes, we currently have four personal trainers and they specialise in the following areas:

  • Nutrition
  • Weight Management
  • Injury Rehabilitation
  • Core Stability

What expertise can I expect from the staff at theClub?

All of our staff are trained to the highest standard to provide an unparalleled level of customer service. TheClub prides itself on our staff going above and beyond to provide every member with an enjoyable experience every time they visit the club.

What classes do you offer at theClub?

We offer over 230 classes each week across three different studios, some of which are virtual.

What type of changing room facilities do you have?

  • Separate shower cubicles each with complimentary shampoo and conditioner
  • Complimentary hand, nail and body lotions
  • Private cubicle and open changing area
  • Family changing rooms: (with shower, lockers, baby changing facility, toilet, washbasin, complimentary shampoo and conditioner).
  • Large wooden lockers with hanger, shoe space
  • Spare plug sockets available to bring your own straighteners and hairdryers

What is the length of the indoor swimming pool?

The dimensions of the pool are 20 x 9 metres. The pool is 1.2 metres deep and has 2 laned areas for adult only and lane swimming. The rest of the pool is for children and leisurely swimming. There is also a jet pool located at the end of the pool.

Do you have any relaxation areas at the club?

Yes, we have:

  • 3x Saunas
  • 2x Steam Rooms
  • Spa Pool
  • Relaxation room

The Saunas and Steam Rooms feature mood lighting. The steam room at the poolside releases eucalyptus oils and lemon oils are used for the steam room in the ladies changing room area.

Can I bring children into theClub?

Yes, but they must be accompanied by a member at all times.
Price: £10 for a day pass.

You can also add a child on to your membership plan.

The access times for children are:

  • Monday to Friday 10:15am - 7:00pm
  • Weekends 9:00am - 7:00pm

Can I bring adults into theClub if they are not a member?

Yes, but they must be accompanied by a member at all times.
Price: £20 for a day pass

How do I cancel my membership?

Memberships cannot be cancelled online. Please call the theclubandspa on 01934 834343 if you wish to cancel your membership.
